Prophet Muhammaed s.a.w said;
"I am from Hussain and Hussain is from me."
On 8th Muharam 1430, Sabeel e Imam Hussain has been arranged by Peace for Karachi at Landhi babar Market, with the collabration of "Secret of happiness".
The main objective of arranging the sabeel was to spread awareness about the tragedy of karbala, reminding the thirst of Shuhada e karbala and most important is to serve Humanity.
Before arranging the sabeel, Peace for Karachi had a campaign in which they gave the printouts written "DRINK WATER THINK HUSSAIN" to the random people on the streets, to spread awareness about thirst of Shuhada e karbala.
Apparently, it was the moodest setup; Few tables lined up, wrapped with black sheets , covered woth black tents to limit the area and the most dedicated members to provide services.
Peace for Karachi members and "Secret of happiness" contributed for arranging the sabeel. Water and juices (made with Milk and roohafza) has been served to the lovers of Imam Hussain at sabeel.
Imam Hussain and his followers didn't get water, but we want to make sure that no one goes thirsty during these days. Different organizations and people arranged sabeel e imam hussain at different places in Karachi. We karachities in this way shows our love to humanity and spread the lesson of Karbala in the days of muharram.
We The team Peace for Karachi, are blessed to have such a versatile and dedicated team of members who served and contributed to make this event successful. We hope we will be doing such types of events in future as well.
